Whether he knew it or not, I was always watching how he uplifted those around him & how he always made time to hear me, see me, and love me exactly where I was at. I am so lucky to call him my Uncle Ricky, my biggest confidante, and truly one of my favorite people in the whole world. Who better to articulate and paint my love story than someone that shows unconditional love everyday and fully understands me, like he does.

My pride & joy, my best friend, & the person who knows me maybe even better than Steven. We were roommates when Steven & I moved to SA and those were the best times. Carly is so much more to me than just my (& now Steven’s) little sister, I wouldn’t be me without her.

Mikey is one of my all time best friends. He’s someone I simultaneously look up to while shaking my head at. Erin loves him like her own brother and I’m glad he’s in our lives.

Shannon and I initially bonded over a love for horses, but soon I realized we share a lot more than one passion. She’s my big sister, my go to person, and the feistiest woman I know. I’m beyond blessed to learn so much from her and to live 10 minutes down the road.

You can find him year round at 2417 Broadway St, Lubbock Tx or at any event we throw. Despite living states away Abe makes a point to show up and support his friends.

Alex & I met at work and quickly became besties. We have similar interests, opinions, & a shared competitive nature. She’s always there to share a meme or dumb down sports for me. I’m thankful for the privilege to laugh alongside her almost everyday.

Any story from my time at Tech will involve Chandler. He’s always the life of the party & always a good time- especially drunk riding around Lubbock on scooters.

My friendship with Sarah is the best thing to come out of Lubbock, Texas. Steven and I both knew her before we got together and she has supported us from day one. I wouldn’t have made it through my degree or my green apron if it wasn’t for her. I love that our lives still align even 520 miles apart.

Olisa is my oldest friend out of the group. Some of the best memories I have from the terrible time that was high school are with him. He welcomed me into his life, family, & this friend group. He’s always looked out for me and treated me like a brother.

Tracy Marie is my mom’s adopted daughter, my 10th grade report partner, and the funniest person I’ve ever met. She is beautiful inside and out and she has a light that radiates to everyone she knows. She is truly family to us and I’m so proud to know her.

Mike has lived in Colorado for almost a decade & somehow we still talk pretty much every day. He’s the friend you got nothing but great things to say about. One of the friendliest people I have had the pleasure of calling my friend and he’s always down for a good time.

Lizette is one of my oldest friends that I cherish so much. I quite literally could not have survived high school without her and since then I’ve had the pleasure of watching her become an amazing mom, wife, & friend. Growing up alongside her has been one of the most beautiful things in my life.

I’ve made a lot of friends in the service industry, but my all time favorite is Le. I don’t know anyone with a bigger heart or a kinder spirit. He’s my big city living, world traveling sunshine. We were always meant to be best friends and I know 20 years from now our friendship will be the same.
