We are getting married! We are beyond excited to celebrate and party our hearts out with all of our loved ones in one of our very favorite places, which also happens to be where we first officially met: Astoria, OR. Astoria is situated at the mouth of the Columbia River, within just a few miles of the Pacific Ocean and its beaches. It is the oldest town this side of the Rockies, so it is full of history. It also has lots of character, amazing views, plenty to see and do, and stellar places to eat and drink. We highly encourage you to come early or stay late and check out all that Astoria has to offer. In this website, we have compiled the details of our wedding day, along with information about and recommendations of places to stay, things to do and see, and spots to eat and drink. There are many hotels located within mere blocks of the venue! Below is a list of some we recommend...

The Commodore Hotel is one of our highest recommendations (and not only because they are offering our guests a 25% discount). It is a quirky boutique hotel just across the street from the venue and settled among many good bars, cafes and restaurants. It is only blocks from the water. As with the Norblad, be careful when booking as the bathroom for some of their rooms are single occupancy toilets and showers down the hall. They do provide nice, cozy bathrobes for your journey down the hallway but for those who prefer a bathroom in their room, be sure to select the correct room option. Another benefit of this hotel is that The Commodore building is home to the new Broder, a delicious Nordic brunch spot and café which is on our list of recommended food spots! *The Commodore has offered a discount of 25% for our guests. Commodore Hotel

The Norblad is another quirky boutique hotel which is located just across the street from our venue while their larger suites are located in the historic Astor Building on the floors above the venue. The Norblad ranks among our highest hotel recommendations. It is surrounded by great food, drink and shops and it is only blocks away from the water. They even have turntables and a record collection you can borrow from for free during your stay. Do be careful when booking, however, as some of their rooms only have sinks in them: there are shared, single-occupancy bathrooms and showers down the halls throughout the building for guests staying in these rooms. Which, are actually very nice (take it from Erin who stayed in one of these rooms for three weeks while filming in town!). They provide cozy robes for the treks down the hallway and it is actually quite tolerable and a great option if you are on a budget. *When making your reservation, contact the front desk to request the 10% off discount for any rooms! *For anyone with mobility issues, please note that the portion of Norblad that is across the street from the venue (their main building), does not have an elevator.

Norblad Hotel

While neither of us have stayed at this hotel, we have heard amazing things! It is built over the water and the views are spectacular. The hotel is located on the Riverwalk so it is right in the midst of all of the wonderful food, drink, shopping and activities of Astoria. It is about a quarter mile walk from here to the venue. The Bowline also features a soaking tub, barrel saunas, in-room fireplaces and both a restaurant and bar that are supposed to be *chef's kiss*.

Bowline Hotel

Sorry to say that neither of us have stayed at this hotel either as we have loved other accommodations and remain loyal to them. However, this is where actors are often put up when we film in the area, so you know it has to be good! The Cannery Pier Hotel is (surprise!) located out on a pier. They boast views from every room. It is a bit more of your "standard hotel" and has amenities such as a bar that overlooks the water and there is a spa on site. This hotel is what I would consider to be on the edge of town and its' activities, however, it is still a quick walk into the core of downtown. It is a 5min drive from here to the venue.

Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa

The Riverwalk Inn isn't terribly fancy, but it is well kept and a great budget-friendly choice. It is also located on the edge of downtown, however, nothing in this area is far away and walking to shops and restaurants is still pretty easy from this location (if the weather allows for it). The venue is a short 6 min drive from the venue. The rooms here have balconies over the water which look right out onto the marina so the views of the boats, river, and bridges is a huge bonus to this location.
