Welcome Drinks & Appies

Wear whatever you like! We understand people will be travelling on this day, so show up however you please. Zac and Erin will be casually, but nicely dressed (i.e. no holes in our sweaters or jeans for once).

Ceremony

Zac and Erin will be nicely dressed but no gowns, suits, or high heels are expected or recommended for the ceremony locale, as it will take place on the beach. Guests can wear their comfortable and breathable whale watching garb to the ceremony if they choose, or they can bring something to change into afterward.

Whale Watching

We will be touring on three boats; two zodiacs and one covered boat. Those of us in the zodiacs will be in dry suits, and should wear warm, comfortable layers. Those of us on the covered boat will not be in dry suits, and should bring extra layers and a windproof shell.

Dinner/Reception

If you have a pretty dress, a good-looking suit, or a sparkly romper you've been dying to wear out, this is your chance to do so! Zac and Erin will be in a suit and dress, but don't expect their guests to pull out all the stops (unless they want to!). A nice dress shirt and jeans or skirt is also welcome.

Given the high chance of rainy weather, rain gear is highly recommended for the weekend!

Tips provided by Remote Passages:

- enjoy clear liquids (tea, apple juice, water); dry foods (e.g. toast, scone, biscuit)

- avoid coffee, soda drinks, fried foods and dairy foods

- take an anti-nausea aid if prone to motion sickness; and also

- chew gum during the trip

If you choose to bring expensive equipment such as cameras, phones, or binoculars please be aware they could get wet or lost.
