Riley and Erin first met at Howell High School, where they shared several classes over the years. Their friendship truly began during Pre-Calculus, when Erin was a junior and Riley a senior. Their involvement in sports—softball for Erin and baseball for Riley—provided even more opportunities to spend time together. Eventually, Erin worked up the courage to text Riley outside of school and sports, and from that moment on, their story unfolded.

Riley attended Owen’s Community College before transferring to Olivet College, where he played baseball and earned a degree in Insurance and Risk Management. Erin committed to Ferris State University for softball while pursuing a degree in Marketing. Despite the distance, they stayed together throughout the five years, visiting each other on weekends and supporting each other by attending games whenever possible.

After graduating, Erin and Riley decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona. During their four years there, they explored places like the Grand Canyon, California, and Seattle. They attended the Phoenix Open and even made it to the World Series. Over Labor Day weekend in 2024, their adventure took a special turn when they got engaged in Prescott.

After four years in the Arizona sun, Erin and Riley decided to move closer to family and chose Nashville, Tennessee. Over Thanksgiving weekend, they made their second cross-country move. So far, they’re loving their new home and have even added a puppy, Basil, to their adventures. Now, they’re both looking forward to celebrating their story with friends and family in November!
