Our Wedding

Robert and I's best friends, Callie and Jeff Hannah, introduced us during a cabin weekend. Before the weekend, Callie told me that Robert would be at the cabin and that she'd like us to meet. However, once I arrived, I saw Robert cutting the sleeves off of a camouflage sweatshirt and immediately questioned Callie's intentions for me. Luckily, Robert wanted to pet Izzy and, as a result, he and I had the opportunity to talk. Based on our conversation, I knew he was one of the kindest men I'd ever met and I wanted to get to know him more. We had our first date at Superica and fell in love over salsa and margaritas! However, less than a month after our first date, I received a job offer in Savannah, Georgia. I told Robert that I would understand if he did not want a long-distance relationship. To my surprise, Robert encouraged me to take the job and promised that he would stand by me for the next two years. And that he did! We got engaged on Thanksgiving Day at the most perfect place: my childhood home! I move back from Savannah in August 2021 and we plan to start our life together in Atlanta! We are so excited to celebrate with all of the people we love the most!
