Our story began in November 2021, when fate brought us together through mutual friends. For our first date, Curt picked me up in his maroon Ford F-150 King Ranch, which smelled just as good as he did—a perfect introduction to a southern gentleman. We headed to my favorite Mexican restaurant, and from the moment we sat across from each other, laughter flowed effortlessly. It felt as if we had known each other forever, and in that moment, I knew he was my person. After that first date, we became inseparable.

Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2023. The atmosphere was electric, and as the countdown approached, everything around us fell quiet. I was playing a game on my phone and distracted as the chairs beside me had been removed. Looking up, I saw Curt down on one knee, the soft notes of music filling the air. My heart raced as it registered: this was the moment I had always dreamed of! Overwhelmed with joy, I immediately said, “YES!!!” It was the perfect way to kick off our next chapter, and I can’t wait for all the adventures that are coming our way! -Errial

Our story began in November 2021, when I met Errial through mutual friends. She caught my eye, and I decided to ask her out on a date. But I have to keep it real—it took me a while to make that move! One day, while she was working, I received a text from her saying it shouldn’t take so long to ask someone out, and I was wasting her time, especially since I lived just 15 minutes away!

That evening, I took her words to heart. I texted her to get dressed because I was on my way to pick her up. Her exact response was, “But I never said I was going, but okay!” We ended up at a nice Mexican restaurant, where we laughed and connected like we had known each other forever. From that moment on, we were locked in.

Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2023. Just seconds before the countdown, I decided to pop the question. Errial was glued to her phone, playing a game, while I felt butterflies in my stomach. As the chairs around us began to shift and the song "This Is Why I Love You" by MAJOR, played in the background, I got down on one knee and asked, “Errial Alexis Green, will you marry me?”

She shouted “YES!" and jumped out of her chair to hug & kiss me. It was the perfect way to kick off the New Year with my best friend, who is now my fiancée. I can't wait to see what this journey of life holds for us and the new doors we will open together as one. -Curtis
