Our Wedding

Gil and Eryka first met in 2015 when she was visiting the Jewish Theological Seminary for an open house. It just happened to be the day of Gil's annual cantorial music presentation. According to Gil he was “prepping the material when a beautiful woman walked into the room” and he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. &nbsp;Over the course of their studies, a close friendship blossomed. Despite living in New York City and having a wide range of cuisine options in the greatest city in the world, they would often study together and confide in one another during walks to Chipotle. After three years of friendship, they realized that their relationship had grown into something much deeper. &nbsp;Most days, Eryka can read Gil like a book. However, the morning of her birthday earlier this year, she was surprised as Gil walked into the room-in a tux-and got down on one knee. Eryka immediately said “YES!” and that she couldn’t wait to marry her best friend.&nbsp; We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we begin this next chapter of our life!
