For our wedding we would love for you to be comfortable yet still dressy, so for a dress code we ask for dressy casual. For the gentleman examples are a nice pair of dress slacks and shirt, tie optional. For the ladies, a nice dress or a dressy skirt and top. In true Midwest fall fashion it could be in the 70s, or snowing so please look at the weather prior. A free coat check is available at the venue if a coat is needed. We do ask that you do not wear jeans and avoid the color white.
Is the wedding going to be Inside or Outside?
Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all in the same building and will be inside. There is a balcony space available to our guest for smoking, to cool down, or if it is a nice day to enjoy during cocktail hour!
Are children allowed?
As much as we love your children we want this night to be a parents night out to enjoy dinner, and dancing! We ask that you please leave your children at home. The only children present will be our flower girls. Thank you for understanding!
Can I have a plus one?
As much as we would love to invite everyone we do have a budget to abide by. Please only RSVP for how many guests are on the invitation. If your invitation is addressed for you and a guest, please RSVP for yourself and that guest. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate everyone to bring a plus one and we hope that you understand and will still have great time!
Is there parking?
Yes! There is a free parking lot next to The Gage available for our guests! You are able to leave your car for the night so please if you choose to drink get an Uber/Lyft and do not drink and drive!
Will there be a shuttle from the Hotel?
There is not a shuttle but there will be Uber Vouchers for those who plan to stay at the Hampton Inn. The Home2Suites is across the street from The Gage so very close walking distance. Since the Hampton Inn is a little further down the road there will be Uber vouchers for our guests staying there to get to and from The Gage.
Will there be an open bar?
We will be offering an open bar during cocktail hour. During the reception we will be offering Wine, Beer, Specialty Cocktails, specialty Mocktail, and pop. During the reception if there is another beverage you would like it will be available for you to purchase.
