We would like to personally thank everyone for the love, support and encouragement through our difficult decision to postpone our wedding. &nbsp;Our vision of having our favorite people in the same place&nbsp;celebrating together, is something we have dreamt of for so long. &nbsp;We will not let current circumstances take that away from us! &nbsp;This just means the party will be that much better with even more anticipation! &nbsp;We love you all, and cannot wait to celebrate with you in 2021.

Postponement 

Gallaghers Pub in Huntington Beach, California&nbsp; was where it all started!&nbsp;Eryn and Kyle met at this&nbsp;fine establishment&nbsp;on July 4th, 2015.&nbsp;&nbsp;Eryn had&nbsp;never stepped foot in to that bar until that fateful night;&nbsp;the&nbsp;one night that&nbsp;Kyle happened to be&nbsp;in town for a buddy's bachelor party.&nbsp; After making their relationship official in January of 2016, they spent about a year in a long distance relationship.&nbsp; Through the struggles of the distance, they always knew they would make it work.&nbsp;&nbsp;In February of 2017, after many back and forth visits between Texas&nbsp;and California, Eryn officially moved to Houston, Texas.&nbsp; Kyle proposed&nbsp;on December 29th, 2018 in front of both sets of parents, siblings and niece on the dock over the lake on the property where Eryn grew up in California.&nbsp; They chose to get married on that same property where Eryn's parents got married 35 years ago.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?



In order to allow all guests an evening of fun and relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. If you plan to bring your children,&nbsp;and would like help finding babysitters for off-site accommodations, please let us know!







HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE&nbsp;FROM MY HOTEL/AIR B&B?







Transportation will be provided to and from the&nbsp;Embassy Suites Hotel&nbsp;in La Quinta. &nbsp;There will also be parking on site. Uber is always another option!

Curtis is the&nbsp;(older) twin brother to Kyle. They've been running amok&nbsp;since they could walk: playing sports, collecting Pokemon,&nbsp;and eventually starting their own families.&nbsp;

The younger of the Leja sisters, Alex has been Eryn's best friend her entire life. &nbsp;Growing up on the ranch together has offered tons of memories, including riding horses together, building forts, and Alex throwing barbie dolls across the room at her. &nbsp;

Kyle met Clif about a year into his Houston stint. Clif is a fellow soccer "bro" who shares Kyle's love for Liverpool F.C., the Houston Rockets, and a nice glass of&nbsp;whiskey.&nbsp;

Eryn has known Caitlin almost as long as her own sister. &nbsp;They both claim they followed the other around the playground at preschool, but nobody is still sure who actually did. &nbsp;They spent countless slumber parties at each others' ranches out in the desert, and Caitlin was the reason Eryn started to play volleyball in high school.

Kyle met Diego as a wide-eyed freshman at UMKC and shared the soccer field with him for four years. The&nbsp;Roo's went through&nbsp;many experiences in Engineering School,&nbsp;&nbsp;on the pitch, and around KC. They got to spend quite a bit of&nbsp;time, sometimes too much,&nbsp;together in the Dallas-Fort Worth area when Kyle moved&nbsp;to Texas in 2013.&nbsp;

Eryn's cousin, not by blood, but by something even stronger! &nbsp;Racquel used to hide in the curtains when they played hide and seek and made Eryn "fix her legs" when they played. &nbsp;They have grown a strong friendship, and share a mutual love for Country music and margaritas.

Alex and Kyle have been soccer bros since Middle School. They've shared many life experiences leading up to&nbsp;Alex becoming an&nbsp;accomplished PA in the state of Florida.&nbsp;

Eryn &&nbsp;Jess first bonded on a road trip home from a club volleyball tournament in Phoenix over In-N-Out burger.&nbsp; Since then, they've shared&nbsp;numerous trips together (both for work and fun), with their favorite location being Las Vegas.&nbsp; They've shared the same love for coaching college volleyball together in the same conference, and will never turn down an evening of popcorn, wine and face masks.&nbsp;

Jessica Walker

In 2010,&nbsp;Eryn walked into a hair salon in Huntington Beach&nbsp;where Leilani used to work, and was randomly selected to do her hair that day. &nbsp;They instantly&nbsp;bonded while Leilani tamed the brassy blonde hair out of her head.&nbsp; They&nbsp;found out they were born 2 days apart, and have created an amazing friendship filled with not so "docile" moments, and lots of&nbsp;yoga.

Matthew and Kyle have also been soccer bros since Middle School. They've both come a long way from their high school shenanigans. Matthew is an esteemed Dentist in the Bay Area.&nbsp;

Garrett and Kyle met at Kindergarten&nbsp;recess. They both shared a love for soccer, Mario Kart, and&nbsp;MLB Showdown. Garrett and Kyle later lived together their senior years in college in Kansas City.

Eryn and Whitney met&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;a love for volleyball back in high school on the same club team. &nbsp;Even though they didn't attend the same high school, their bond was strong and maintained an amazing friendship over the years&nbsp;regardless.&nbsp; Whitney was a huge&nbsp;supporter to&nbsp;Eryn during her college volleyball days, and&nbsp;Eryn got to visit Whit during her time at NYU Nursing school.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Whitney Henderson

The bubbly and sparkly Jenny entered Eryn's life when she moved to Huntington Beach from New York, when she became Alex's "blind" roommate on craigslist.&nbsp; Her infectious laugh, and love for spicy margaritas made her out to be someone so special to Eryn!&nbsp;&nbsp;She instantly became "one of the girls", and Eryn was one of her&nbsp;bridesmaids in February of 2017 when she got married in Miami.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Jenn Devir

Kyle and Mark have been friends since elementary school. They share a love for sports, crossfit (for a short period), and all things Patrick Mahomes.

Kyle and Ryan have been friends since he moved to Kansas City from Arlington, Texas in 7th grade. They both shared a love for&nbsp;bowl cuts (in the early days), FIFA, basketball, Pokemon illustration duels,&nbsp;stupid handshakes, and&nbsp;pong (in the later days).&nbsp;

Eryn & Meredith met through club volleyball in Southern California. &nbsp;They instantly connected, and found the same love and passion for their careers. &nbsp;Fast forward, and they are both recruiting coordinators for NCAA&nbsp;DI programs, and have built an amazing and laughter-filled friendship.&nbsp; They have an amazing opportunity to see each other through their jobs, and always find time to laugh and share memories.&nbsp; Floating the river in Texas, and a random trip to New Orleans to name a couple!

David and Kyle met in Houston and immediately hit it off due to being college goalkeepers. They've frequented the local Houston breweries, Rockets games, and soccer matches for the last several years.&nbsp;

This is&nbsp;the closest and most convenient airport to the venue at&nbsp;28 miles away!&nbsp;As of Fall 2021, Southwest Airlines now provides service to&nbsp;Palm Springs Airport!!

Ontario Airport is another option 84 miles from the venue and San Diego Airport is 85 miles from the venue. We set up a Lyft-ride service&nbsp;event for the weekend - starting Friday afternoon and extending into the wee hours of Sunday morning. So if you need a DD or just another mode of transportation, &nbsp;use the code "LEJAMARTIN13" in reference to "Eryn & Kyles Wedding Weekend" event in the app. It'll save you some coin! Please keep in mind that there aren't a whole lot of drivers out here in the desert so if you are hailing a Lyft, be sure to check in advance on how quickly one can get to you, especially if you plan on taking one to the ceremony!&nbsp;

Tee times available to the public.&nbsp; This is a beautiful golf course just around the corner from Old Town La Quinta.

SilverRock Resort

This is a beautiful course nearby the venue which offers tee times to the general public!&nbsp; &nbsp;They also have an amazing restaurant called Bistro 60 which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Golf Club at La Quinta

This is another local golf club that offers really reasonable rates for tee times to the general public!&nbsp; They have Big Rock pub which offers live music and brunch on Sundays.

This is Margo Schwab's (Eryn's aunt)&nbsp;salon located in La Quinta! &nbsp;It is very close to Old Town La Quinta, in a great shopping center. &nbsp;Book an appointment if you'd like your hair or makeup done!
