Attire

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie or khakis and a button-up for men. We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us, but please come however you feel most comfortable!

Driver's License

For guests that wish to partake in our open bar, please be sure to bring a valid form of identification to the reception. As a reminder, please be sure to bring small bills to tip our bartenders!

We are excited to share that we will be using The Chef and I Catering for dinner! Directions

To St. Mary's Catholic Church:Via Route 28 North, please take Exit 16: Freeport Millerstown. Make the first right onto Route 908 then at the next light, turn left onto Freeport Rd. Proceed down the hill until you reach the second light. From there, turn right onto 2nd Street and follow for a quarter of a mile then turn left onto High Street. The church is on the right past the Dollar General and stoplight. To Renshaw Family Farms from St. Mary's Catholic Church:Make a right onto High Street and follow for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Ford City Road and drive for nearly 3 miles. The entrance to the farm will be on the right-hand side.

Wedding Details

In August 2022 we went on a trip down to Kentucky and Tennessee with our friends Steve and Katie. The trip entailed spelunking at Mammoth Cave National Park, partying in Nashville, then sightseeing in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our first hike in the Smoky Mountains was to Grotto Falls - a well-known waterfall in the park. It was then that Matt decided to propose. Mind you, it happened at 8:30 AM! When I shared the news with my friends they said we would be the couple to get engaged early in the morning! In hindsight, I should have saw it coming as prior to the trip Matt mentioned I should get my nails done or at least paint them. Regardless, it came as a surprise and was the icing on the cake for such a wonderful trip!

The Proposal

It was honestly a matter of coincidence! I was invited last-minute to a Brantley Gilbert concert by my "cousin" Matt Solada in August of 2016. I met "Walter" at the concert, and the rest you could say is history.

A room block has been created for SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Mills for the Walter-McCormick Wedding. The room block spans from Friday, June 21st, 2024 through Sunday, June 23rd, 2024. Guests can opt to stay for one or two nights, depending on preference. This hotel offers Studio suites with either one king bed or two queen beds in addition to a pullout sofa bed. Additionally, this hotel has an indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. Matt and I hope you enjoy your stay! Transportation

Complimentary transportation will be provided via bus shuttle between Renshaw Family Farms and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Mills for those staying at the hotel. Only one shuttle trip will operate from SpringHill Suites to Renshaw Farms. This shuttle will depart from SpringHill Suites at 4:05 PM. A total of two shuttle trips will be made near the end of the reception from Renshaw Family Farms to SpringHill Suites. The bus will depart from Renshaw Farms at 9 PM and 10:30 PM, respectively. Note, vehicles can be left on Renshaw Farms premises overnight, however vehicles must be picked up Sunday morning. Options available to guests that choose to use the bus shuttle include: 1. Roundtrip Bus Transportation - following the ceremony, guests will need to return to the hotel and be ready to board the shuttle at 4 PM for the reception. It is important to note that riding the shuttle at this time will delay guest arrival to Cocktail Hour. To head back to the hotel, guests can choose to depart Renshaw Family Farms at 9 PM or 10:30 PM. 2. Partial Bus Transportation - this option is for guests staying at the hotel that do not want to miss Cocktail Hour. Guests will drive their own vehicles to the reception and take the shuttle back to the hotel at 9 PM or 10:30 PM. Guests can pickup their vehicles from Renshaw Family Farms the following morning.
