We (Esha and Prashant) met in August of 2019 before we both headed off to our senior year of college. We instantly connected and began our long-distance relationship with Prashant in Philadelphia and Esha in Minnesota. We visited each other often (sometimes without their parents knowing…oops) over long weekends and breaks. Long distance was hard, but little did we know the world would change in March of 2020 and bring us back together.

In July 2020, our little family grew with the addition of Ganesh. He brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. Shortly after, in October 2020, we moved into our first apartment in Uptown Minneapolis.

In August of 2021, we moved to Downtown Minneapolis as Esha began her dream of going to Law School while Prashant was working at Medtronic and U.S Bank, figuring out his next steps and career.

In June of 2022, we and our families traveled to Iceland for what Esha believed to be a family trip. Little did she know that on June 27th, Prashant would propose to her at the Blue Lagoon. She, of course, said yes, and we celebrated during the remainder of the trip!

Soon after their engagement, in August of 2022, Prashant also began Law and Business School at the same school as Esha.

We had our Civil Ceremony on December 9, 2023 at Esha’s childhood home with our immediate family.

We headed to Mexico in January of 2024 to get married with some of our close family and friends. We got married on January 12th, 2024, and we were so lucky to be surrounded by some of our close family and friends, including six of our grandparents, and Esha’s Nana who unfortunately passed away a month later.

On May 11th, Esha graduated from Law School with Prashant and their families by her side. On to the next chapter!
