HOW DO WE GET TO STOCKHOLM?

Take the flight to Arlanda Airport (ARN) just outside Stockholm. Alternatively Stockholm is connected by train to most of mainline Europe, and even the UK (via France).

CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY HOTELS IN STOCKHOLM?

Certainly! A local hotel of high quality is Scandic Täby. In the city centre there are lots of great hotels, such as Scandic Haymarket, Hotel At Six, Hobo Hotel, Downtown Camper, Nordic Light Hotel or Best Western Time Hotel.

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY?

If you stay in Stockholm city, the Arlanda Express train is usually the fastest and most convenient choice. If you stay at a hotel in Täby (such as Scandic Täby), we recommend a cab (Über, Bolt or a local cab company like Taxi Stockholm).

HOW DO I PAY IN SWEDEN?

Sweden's local currency is SEK, and the country is largely cash free. All main European credit cards are accepted (Visa, Mastercard etc).

I CAN’T WALK FROM THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE MY LEGS GOT BROKEN BY A WILD POLAR BEAR! CAN I DRIVE TO THE VENUE?

Poor you! Hope you gave that polar bear what they deserved. You can indeed drive to the venue, but you cannot park there. Tell us in advance if you need a ride and we can arrange it.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN SEPTEMBER?

Predicting the September weather in Sweden is next to impossible, but temperatures are usually around 10-18 °C at this time of year. Check weather forecast closer to arrival.

CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS?

Yes, kids are most definitely welcome to our wedding party! However, we acknowledge that what kids and adults like are not always the same things, so in the interest of peace we will ensure the little ones get their own space where we will offer them kid-friendly food. If any adults prefer hot dogs, soda and Paw Patrol over the traditional wedding party (looking at you, best men!) they’re of course welcome to join the kids' party.
