Esmeralda & Henry started off as strangers just as most couples do. There were many times when they were in the same room but did not know of one another. From a party in high school where Henry caught Esmeralda's eye to being in the same section at a club (LOL) to one day when Esmeralda was scrolling on Instagram and realizes they're following one another!

Yes, you read that right. One day Esmeralda is scrolling on Instagram and see's a video of a guy working out at a familiar-looking gym. After clicking on his profile, Esmeralda sees that it's Henry and finds out they're following each other. To this day you can go back to that very same video on Henry's Instagram and see where Esmeralda & Henry started talking. After a few comments, they find out they go to the same church.. on the same day.. at the same time. Friendly DM's (direct messages) begin where they try to meet up at church but after several failed attempts, they both give up on writing to one another. The one weekend they don't write to one another is the same weekend when Esmeralda is greeting guests in front of the Sanctuary doors and happens to greet Henry. As Henry is walking towards Esmeralda, they immediately recognized each other. Esmeralda finds out that he's there alone so she invites him to sit with her and her friends. After service, they go to the annual Christmas party at church and the rest is history! The two hit it off and became great friends. :)
