Me invitaron a un juego de boliche con un grupo juvenil de la iglesia. Ganas no tenia de salir pero mi amigo Alejandro me insistió y fui. Al llegar, me presente con los muchachos y salude a una muchacha muy bonita que me dijo que llamaba Fani. Ese día jugué el mejor juego de boliche, pero no me anime a preguntarle por su número.

Lo bueno que Alejandro celebra su cumpleaños con fiesta porque, unas semanas despues, volví a ver a Fani. Esta vez me acerque a saludarla y me aproveche que me dijo que los frenos de su carrillo estaban mal. Y yo que soy mecanico frustrado los fui a revisar y le dije que me pasara su numero para poder arreglarselos. De ahí para adelante, No dejamos de hablar. Meses despues, un 6 de enero despues de invitarla a bailar, le pedí que fuera mi novia.

Al día siguiente, me tuve que ir a trabajar fueras. Gracias a Dios que me ha tenido paciencias y me espero un año y medio de larga distancia, mas aparte otros 3 años para pedirle que se casara conmigo.

Well, my church youth group always made plans to go out and hang out. On this specific day, we decided to go to Grand Station for some bowling. One of our friends brought a guy and yes, he was really handsome. I told him my name and he said his name was Jose, I asked, "just José?" To which he answered "José Manuel Tapia" His full name made me swoon! #sponseredbyGrandStation<3

He had quite the skill for bowling but quite for asking me for my number! But fear not because our mutual friend invited me to his birthday party. I saw him again and I did not approach, intentionally, until he came to me. He said hi to me and asked how I was. I am not quite sure how we arrived at the topic of my car but I must have complained because he excuses himself. When he comes back, he has dirt on his shirt and grease on his hands. He went to check out my Fiat and told me he could fix it. I think thats the day I fell in love with him! Hah!

Anyway, obviously he asked me for my number because I wasn't going to ask HIM! Almost a year later after many texts, visits back to town, nights out dancing and taco dates he asked me to be his girlfriend. January 6th, 2019 holds a wonderful place in my heart.

What he FAILED to tell me was that he was called out of town and we had a long distance relationship for a year and a half. He came back to live in town in 2020 and we have been together ever since. He is the love of my life! The most gentle, kind, hardworking and most humble person I know. He has helped me heal and love myself entirely.
