Eric and I met in high school when I was a freshman and he a sophomore. It started out as a typical high school romance relationships where we were able to visit each other on the weekends and otherwise only saw each other at school. I think at this point no one really expected us to last very long; we were just kids.


Fast forward to our major life events: both of our high school graduations, moving in together in 2015, getting our first puppy, me graduating college, and getting our first jobs in our respective career fields. For a little over 10 years, we have been by each other's sides celebrating milestones and enjoying ourselves.


After being together for almost ten years we finally had the discussion about moving forward with our lives after I had been at my job for about 2 and a half years. We had been waiting on the stars to align for us to be able to move out of Antonito and to the city of our choice, Colorado Springs. Amidst that waiting period is when Eric finally decided to pop the question!


From high school sweethearts to full-fledged adults, we could not be more excited to continue our journey through life as husband and wife.
