Tanner and I were introduced very quickly when I first moved to the US in 2018. We spoke for the first (and I thought the last) time my final Sunday of leading worship. He wished me well at The Grove and then this photo was taken of the team. Just like before I didn't think about him at all... until about a year later when he slid into my dm's to talk about "music stuff" - E ......................................................................................................... From the very first time I heard Esther Logan sing, I was completely captivated. We were brought together through worship music, and though our introduction wasn’t formal, her voice made a lasting impression from the start. Every time we sang together, she took my breath away, and not just because of her talent. I knew right then that I wanted to create music with her someday. What I didn’t realize was that God had something much bigger in mind. Turns out, He was writing the first notes of our love story. -T

After asking Esther (more times than I’d like to admit) to hang out and “just give me a chance,” she FINALLY said yes, and let me take her on a few dates! On our very first one, she told me about growing up overseas and how much she loved Mediterranean food. Right then and there, I knew I had to plan something special for our next date. I don’t know if it was obvious at the time... but I really really liked her. So, I got to work making sure our second date had a little extra heart behind it, just like she was starting to take up a little extra space in mine. -T ................................................................................................... At this point we had been talking and going on dates for a little over a month. He surprised me with a picnic full of middle eastern snacks and food. His intentionality and thoughtfulness spoke SO loud to me. It was after this date that I knew I wanted to date him. :) - E

THE DAY WE MADE IT OFFICIAL WOOP WOOP! - E .............................................................................................................. This was the beautiful day I finally got to call Esther my girlfriend, and yes, I had the biggest smile on my face :) -T

Even though it happened sooner than we expected, it felt completely right. In that moment, I felt something I’d never experienced before. Through Esther, I caught a glimpse of the kind of unconditional love we receive from Christ. Steadfast, gentle, and full of grace. And for the first time, I truly felt… well….. loved :) -T ...................................................................................................... The day we told each other we loved each other for the first time. Yes it was fast, but I also had never felt more sure about something. Betcha can't guess who said it first. :) - E

Life was moving so fast and it began to feel like I have known esther much longer than just the last 2 years of my life. She started becoming home. -T ....................................................................................................... 2 years wowow how the time flies - E

the most silly, perfect, and fun filled day of my life. I thought I was just being blessed by the sweetest date day... and then ended up ENGAGED!!! - E ........................................................................................................ In the days leading up to the proposal, people kept asking me, “Are you nervous?” And sure, maybe a little. But more than anything, I felt this deep, steady peace. Every single day, I was being reminded in big and small ways that I wanted to spend my life with Esther. Any nerves I had were completely outweighed by the excitement of asking the easiest (and most important) question I’ve ever asked. -T
