Please dress for a formal event. The weather in Rhode Island in October is typically mid-70s during the day and low 50s at night. Our ceremony is outdoors and the venue is open air, so please plan accordingly.

The good news is that Rhode Island is pretty small, so you will find most cities in the area to be convenient (nothing is more than an hour away). The most convenient option near the venue will be in Middletown (we have room blocks available there). A more expensive option with more activities would be the historic and very walkable Newport on the south coast. A further option with lots to explore and a great nightlife is downtown Providence. More affordable locations may include Fall River and Seekonk, Massachusetts.

Yes! We have room blocks available at a couple hotels in Middletown, RI, about a 10 minute drive from the venue. You can see more details on the travel page. We tried to find blocks in Newport but they filled fast, however individual rooms may still be available! If you'd like to explore your own options, convenient cities near the venue include Bristol (RI), Newport (RI), and Fall River (MA).

We would love to arrange something but we have not been able to secure anything yet. Uber/Lyft should be readily available in the area or you could consider renting a car if you have a designated driver for the night.

We feel we have most of the material things we need for now-- what we want most is to grow our family after the wedding. We set up a cash fund under the registry for those who would like to help us reach the financial needs necessary to have children. Any cash or checks received at the wedding will also go towards this goal. For those wishing to gift a physical item, we have also created a small gift registry.
