Colin and Ethan met back in 2012, while both traveling the U.S. separately. While Ethan was meditating in a Kiva at Mesa Verde National Park daily for 7 days, Colin, meanwhile, was traveling in his van with little clue as to what was going to happen once he descended upon Mesa Verde as well.

On the 7th day that Ethan was sitting in the Kiva; a 'ceremonial hole in the ground', as Colin would say, Colin descended down the ladder, into a whole world unknown. That is when, and where the very first meeting, and hours long conversation would follow.

As they sat there for many hours, sharing their history, their world travels, the why's, the where's, and who they were, they then made a plan to meet up in Taos, NM approximately a week later.

A week later they both rolled into Taos, Ethan coming north from Sante Fe and Colin coming from the North near Durango. Ethan had keys for a lil shanty cabin that a friend told him to scout out. So, naturally they both lived at the cabin for the following few months without water or electricity, all the while working daily to make it inhabitable.

13 years later, they have traveled 8 countries together, multiple states, purchased that little cabin property together in Taos where it all started, and now... They have finally decided to take the next big leap!!!

As most of you know, but some of you don't, Ethan proposed to Colin while on one of their adventures after their trip to Antelope Canyon, at the gorgeous Horseshoe Bend on Sept 6th 2022. They have been engaged for 3 years, purchased their beloved Taos Canyon property together in July of 23', and because life happens the way it does, here we are, finally in 2025, tying the knot!

It has been many years, and many surprises later that has led us to where we are now; the ceremonial joining of two lives, that have been connected in so many ways, for so very long. Soon, Ethan will be relocating to the UK to reside with Colin.
