Ethan and I met at Cedarville University during the second semester of our sophomore year. Our first interaction was a game of spike ball—and neither of us were very good at it! The next week, we tried pickleball, and that sparked a very long journey of trying new things together :) What started as casual games quickly turned into long conversations, endless laughter, and us becoming each other's very best friend. We discovered in each other someone who celebrates every joy, shares every burden, and makes even simple moments feel extraordinary. From finding new hobbies to traveling to Peru together, hiking up mountains, learning to ski, and so much more, we have found so much joy in both the grand adventures and the quiet moments of simply being together. Each experience has been a gift, made richer because we shared it with one another. As we step into this next chapter of our lives, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Every day feels like a new adventure, and we know that together, we can face anything life brings our way. We are so excited to see where life takes us and what God has in store for our future. Whether you’ve been part of our lives since childhood or have gotten to know us more recently, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our story. We are abundantly blessed by each one of you, and endlessly grateful that God has placed you in our lives. We are beyond excited to celebrate this special day with you by our side.
