Our journey began in August 2019 when Ethan became Megan’s para for the 2019-2020 school year. We quickly bonded over our shared love of football—especially our Kansas City Chiefs!

When Ethan moved into a new position, our friendship remained strong. We stayed connected through life’s ups and downs, always finding time for trivia nights, game nights, and plenty of fantasy football debates.

Fast forward to a regular trivia night, Megan noticed something was a little different about Ethan. She asked if he wanted to step outside and talk. That conversation turned into hours of deep, honest reflection about life, and somewhere in that moment, we both realized there might be something more than friendship growing between us.

On June 15, 2023, we officially started dating! Since then, our days have been filled with even more game nights, Chiefs training camps and games, Royals games, concerts, wine tastings, travel adventures, buying a home, and the joy (and chaos) of raising our puppy, Milo—alongside our beloved Lola.

Then on August 16, 2025, Ethan took Megan to Stonehaus Winery, where he proposed on a beautiful dock overlooking the water. And Megan said YES!

We’re so excited for what’s ahead—more time with Milo and Lola, cheering on the Chiefs, Concerts, attending sporting events, family gatherings, traveling, and many more board game nights. But most of all, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
