There will be free parking at both venues, but it would be nice if you can carpool to the reception venue since there's more limited parking there.
What kinds of wedding gifts are customary?
We understand that weddings often come with various cultural traditions. In Eastern cultures, it's customary to offer monetary gifts known as "hong bao," while in Western cultures, registries are more common. However, we want to assure you that your support in any form is deeply appreciated. Whether you choose to contribute through a hong bao or by selecting a gift from our registry, please know that your gesture will be received with love and gratitude. If you choose to support us with a cash gift like hong bao, you can choose to bring the gift to the wedding or Venmo us (@EuniceTTan), and our Amazon registry is in the 'Registry' tab of this website. We do ask, though, that we don't receive any gifts with a 'dragon' and 'phoenix' symbol. Above all, we are excited to celebrate this joyous occasion with each and every one of you! :)
Who should I tell about my dietary restrictions?
Fill out the form questionnaire when you RSVP.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The attire is cocktail.
In consideration of cultural customs, we also respectfully request that guests refrain from wearing red or white.
I'm from out of town. What will the weather be like in Houston?
Temperatures usually range from 63 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring an umbrella.
Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and the reception will both be indoors (the rain is unpredictable in Houston).
When/where will there be food?
Dinner and cake will be served at the reception, and there will be snacks during refreshment hour.
There is a twenty-to-thirty-minute drive between the two venues, so we kindly ask guests to leave right after the ceremony ends.
Our wedding will be alcohol-free.
