Straits Quay, Penang

Restaurants and shops with a nice boardwalk by the sea. Close to Eureka's family's apartment.

Penang Hill, Penang

Take the funicular train up Penang Hill to visit the Habitat, a small park in the forest with swings, treetop bridges, and cafes. If you have the time, consider doing the adventure obstacle course!

Floating Mosque, Penang

Built in 1967, this mosque is a beautiful place of worship for the Muslim local community with a panoramic view of the island. Female guests should wear long pants and sleeves, and cover their head if possible when visiting.

George Town, Penang

George Town is the capital of Penang and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can easily spend a day walking around and admiring its unique artwork, cultural museums, religious buildings, shops, and food!

Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Penang

This 19th-century mansion and museum features traditional art and furniture in the style of the baba nyonya culture. It has been featured in movies and TV shows, such as Crazy Rich Asians.

Penang Botanic Gardens, Penang

This is one of Eureka's family's favorite spots on the weekend. There are so many different varieties of plants to see!

Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang

This Buddhist temple sits on top of a hill and has lots of colorful statues and decorations.

Gurney Plaza, Penang

A mall close to the wedding activities with a cinema and multiple food and shopping options.
