In the fall of 2017, what started out as a simple date to the drag race track turned out to be a stepping stone into a bond and level of love neither one of us was anticipating, but knew was right from the start. When the race came to an end, Evan felt the need to turn Highway 285 into a portion of his own race track, and was clocked going 70mph in a 45mph zone! Along with going 25mph over the limit, Evan also had an expired drivers license. With some quick thinking he was able to talk himself out of a hefty speeding ticket because he had a beautiful girl he needed to get home on time. He drove off with his unbeknownst future wife and no consequences!

This became a fond memory for the both of us, as it was the first of many dates soon to come after. As time went on, our bond only grew stronger. We spent time doing everything together, from watching the sunset over Roswell, travelling, and getting into random projects, we were always getting into something new and exciting.
