Evan and Michaela's story began when they met at Scullen middle school in 2010. They were friends through their years at Scullen and Neuqua Valley until 2014, their junior year of high school, when they finally made it official. Their first date was at Noodles & Co. and most of their early relationship was spent at a hockey rink and Dairy Queen. As high school came to an end, Evan and Michaela decided that Indiana University was the right place for both of them. While at IU, Michaela studied Biology, while Evan studied Marketing. Their 4 years there included football tailgates, basketball games, and long nights on the patio at Kilroys. They loved eating at the Trojan Horse and ordered the saganaki every time (OPAH!), found the best gyros at a Mediterranean grocery mart behind Kirkwood, and could not end a night out without grabbing Z & C's teriyaki chicken with spicy mayo! Their love grew every year and as graduation neared, there was no question that Evan and Michaela would be together in the next chapter of life. After graduating from IU, Evan and Michaela moved to Cincinnati, Ohio together. Soon after moving there, they added a new member to their family, an aloof and lovable Golden Retriever, Bo. They have lived in Cincinnati for almost 5 years now and love their jobs, friends, and the life they have built together. Their hobbies are going to some of their favorite local breweries, taking Bo for walks around the Bengals stadium, trying every sushi roll possible, and hiking different trails outside the city. The next part of their story will begin with all their family and closest friends on June 15th, 2024!
