In August 2024 Emilie saw Evan's dating profile on Hinge, thought he was cute and seemed nice so she swiped "yes" to try and match with him. While in London two weeks later with her younger sister (after pausing her dating profile), something told her to open up her Hinge app while eating breakfast one morning. She was surprised to see that Evan had matched with her and started a conversation the day before. They promptly started chatting nonstop and had their first date a week later at the Botanical Gardens in San Antonio. They both figured out quickly that this was something pretty special and knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Fast forward seven months later to March 2025, Evan proposed on top of Enchanted Rock while having a mini getaway in Fredericksburg, TX. We are so excited to have everyone come together and celebrate with us on our big day!

The venue is only 45 minutes from Fredricksburg, home to the second most vineyards per populous this side of the Mississippi! We recommend Hilmy Cellars and Signor Vineyards for starters, or if you are into history there is the Pacific War Museum.If you enjoy the outdoors Enchanted Rock is an hour away, great for a scenic view of the hill country.
