Q + A

What is a Discover Pass?

The Discover Pass is REQUIRED to park at our venue. This placard is a Washington State Parks quirk, but by supporting the Discover Pass, you are supporting the beautiful parks in Washington that make memories like our wedding possible! To purchase a pass ahead of time, visit this link: https://store.discoverpass.wa.gov/shop/daypass . Day passes are $11.50 ahead of time (convenient) or they will also be available for purchase when you arrive for $10. One pass is required per vehicle. If this causes hardship for your family, please do not hesitate to reach out to Justin or Evelyn and we will find a way to make sure you are covered.

What should I wear?!

This is a low-stakes event! While we would appreciate a clean look, your comfort is the most important part. We are requesting a range from clean-casual (nice jeans, no graphic t-shirts) to semi-formal, which is preferred. It will likely be a warm sunny day, so if you do dress up, feel free to leave the suit jackets behind. If desired, bringing a cooler change of clothes for the reception would be totally understandable. You can even choose something you can get wet in, and try out the river!

Why Pasco?

Evelyn has tight roots in the Bremerton, WA area, and Justin knows home and family in southern-central Idaho. We wanted to pick a place that was about equidistant from all of our loved ones.

What is the venue like?

Sacajawea Historical State Park is an unassuming location full of beauty and charm. The road to the park might feel a little off-putting, just to warn you, but you'll soon find yourself in a beautiful park with both trees and trails, and waterfront. Our reception time is for being social, having fun, and eating, so feel free to explore. You'll find an Interpretive Center, trails, and riverfront. The park has some life jackets available, and you're welcome to get in the water if you desire!

It's kind of a long ways...what if I can't stay long?

No worries! We would be thrilled to see you for as much or as little as you can on our day. We are fully understanding that while we picked a spot that is in between our families, it is still going to be a few hours drive for many. Our Wedding Ceremony is at 3:30pm PST, our reception and party is at 4:00, and then dinner is served at 5:00. Come for whatever part you can! No hard feelings if you need to dine and dash!
