WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I ARRIVE/DEPART?
You should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).
HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT?
IF YOU BOOKED YOUR TRANSPORTATION WITH JUST BOOK IT TRAVEL PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS. After landing and passing through Immigrations → Baggage Claim → Customs, please exit through the glass doors (Ground Transportation Exit), walk OUTSIDE, and look for the Amstar greeters. BEWARE OF AIRPORT SCAMMERS: There are "timeshare" and "taxi personnel" that will try to sell you alternate transportation, timeshares, or other things. They will pretend to help you. Please do not allow them to make any calls for you. They will say that your transportation has left or that it can take lots of time to get picked up in order to sell you alternate transportation. This is not true. Please only communicate with the Amstar Greeters at the meeting points listed, or contact Amstar independently. (See contact info further below)
HOW DO I GET FROM THE RESORT TO THE AIRPORT?
-- You may reconfirm your departure pick-up time via phone (001-800-895-3000). ---- Please arrive 10-15 minutes early at the outside pickup area for your transportation and be sure to have checked out of the hotel and obtained a check-out slip. You cannot leave the property without a check-out slip :) Give yourself enough time to check out and still be early for transportation pickup. Please also announce yourself and the name of the transportation company "Amstar" to the outside resort staff. The transportation company can only wait for 5 minutes from pickup time, or you will be responsible for a taxi. Feel free to contact Amstar independently if the van has not arrived within 15 minutes of your scheduled departure time.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
All payments are non-refundable and reservations are charged a 100% penalty if cancelled after July 17th, 2024, (UNLESS you have travel insurance). Guests have until July 17th, 2024, to purchase travel protection insurance. Any applicable refunds must be requested from your travel protection supplier. Example 1: Guest pays the balance in full prior to July 17th, 2024, and cancels prior to July 17th, 2024. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded. (Guests with travel protection insurance are refunded the $50 per guest deposit.) Example 2. Guest pays the balance in full on July 17th, 2024, and cancels on or after July 17th, 2024. All payments are non-refundable following July 17th, 2024. (Please file a claim directly with your Trip Protection provider for all non-refundable fees.)
WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN TIME?
Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Rooms are generally not available until then. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, you can use all of the amenities, pools, and restaurants, and the hotel will let you know when your room is ready. We suggest guests travel with beach clothes in their carry-on bags to enjoy their travel day immediately upon arrival.
WHAT DOES "ALL-INCLUSIVE" MEAN?

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND GOOD FLIGHT DEALS?
We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. Homework: Once your flights are booked, please provide us with your flight details so that we can arrange your ground transportation from the airport to the resort, and vice versa. The cost for ground transportation is $80 per guest (2 guest minimum).
DO I NEED TO HAVE MY PASSPORT PRIOR TO MAKING MY DEPOSIT FOR THE TRIP?
Passports are not required UNTIL guest travel. As long as you provide the hotel with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance by RSVPing. Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility." If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.
DOES EVERY GUEST NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL?
YES! Each guest must have a valid passport to travel. **Reminder: please check the EXPIRATION DATE on your passport! It must have an expiration date covering your full stay.
WILL I NEED CASH? WHAT ELSE SHOULD I PACK IF THIS IS MY FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIP, OR FIRST TRIP IN A LONG TIME? HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE?
We recommend that all guests read this Pre-Travel Checklist as prepared by Just Book It Travel, to ensure a seamless travel experience. All confirmed guests will receive very detailed traveling instructions 7-10 days prior to travel.
