No. Cancun, is one of the Mexican destinations that does not require you to get a travel visa or a tourist card. To avoid issues or delays with immigration have the following on hand 1. current valid Passport 2. Printed travel itinerary showing hotel/resort/airbnb/rental Check In and Check Out dates 3. Printed return flight travel itinerary 4. Printed screen shot of our wedding website home page, showing wedding date and location.
Does the Wedding Ceremony start right at 5pm?
Yes, the Wedding Ceremony begins promptly after 5pm. Plan accordingly, if you must travel to the resort and purchase wedding Event Passes beforehand.
Can I take a boxed/packaged gift?
Since we will be traveling for our special day, we kindly request no boxed/packaged gifts. If it is your wish to bless us with a gift, we would be incredibly grateful with a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. We thank you for being part of this special time in our lives by helping us create cherished first memories as Mr. and Mrs. Stewart. Our Honeymoon Fund is on the Registry page of our wedding website.
Will there be a Wedding Guest Group Chat?
Yes, we will be creating a Stewart Wedding Guest Chat on WhatsApp. A place where our wedding guests can ask questions, post updates, share wedding/trip videos and photos, share things they will be doing and locations, e.g "Hey we'll be at the main pool at 3pm" or "There's Live Music at the M Bar at 8pm tonight.". If you are a wedding guest and would like to be part of the group chat, make sure you download WhatsApp to your phone. The group chat will be created approximately 2 weeks before the wedding.
How do I attend the wedding if I am staying outside of Paradisus Playa del Carmen or Paradisus La Perla?
If you are a wedding guest staying outside of Paradisus Playa Del Carmen or La Perla, you will need to purchase a wedding Event Pass ($60 adults, $30 kids) from Paradisus Playa Del Carmen front desk before the wedding. This will allow access to the wedding only and you will have to exit the property promptly after the wedding is over.
What are the type of Passes available at Paradisus for guests staying outside of the two Paradisus Resorts?
There are 3 types of passes available for purchase for those staying outside of Paradisus:
**Event Pass ($60 adults, $30 Kids): Gets you access to the Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Wedding Reception only. This Pass will get you access to the hotel 60 min before the wedding ceremony and you must leave the hotel promptly after the reception ends. If you want to access the After Party, restaurants or bars at Paradisus you must purchase an additional Night Hotel Pass or a Full Day Hotel Pass.
**Night Hotel Pass ($150; hotel access from 6pm-1am): Gives you access to Paradisus Restaurants, Snack Bars, Buffet, Bars and our After Party.
**Full Day Hotel Pass ($300; hotel access from 9am-1am): Gives you access to Paradisus Pools, Spa, Restaurants, Snack Bars, Buffets, Bars and our wedding After Party.
What if I'm Not staying at one of the Paradisus Resorts but I want to attend the After Party? Can I?
If you are not staying at one of Paradisus Resorts, you can attend the After Party by purchasing either a Night Hotel Pass ($150; resort access from 6pm to 1am) or a Full Day Hotel Pass ($300; resort access from 9am to 1am). **Please note, you will have to purchase the Full Day Hotel Pass or Night Hotel Pass, in addition to the wedding Event Pass ($60).
Where do I purchase a wedding Event Pass or a Hotel Pass?
You can purchase every type of pass at the front desk, upon arrival. Please arrive early and allow time for your travel and purchases. Ceremony begins promptly after 5pm.
