What is a "REAL ID" ?

A REAL ID is a state-issued driver's license or ID card that meets federal security standards, allowing you to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities starting May 7, 2025.

Please check your drivers license!!!!!!!! I can not stress this enough!!!!

It must have some sort of a star on it. This star is given to you by the DMV when you present your birth certificate. ( I believe, google what you need to do if you do not have this star) Do not get stuck at the airport day of not able to travel. If you have a passport thats ok, but then do not forget to bring it.
