We first met in middle school and then continued to go to high school together and remained close friends. Once in college Evonne was always visiting her friends and got closer to Nick and they started dating. One day Nick told Evonne he was going to be late from work on a Saturday and she was not happy, it was New Years eve! He got home an hour later and both took their dog Lexi for a walk at her favorite spot, The Paine Estate. It was such a beautiful day since it had snowed the night before and all of the snow was left untouched on the trees and pathways. As they approached the house and turned the corner Nick started mumbling something that neither him and Evonne remember and next thing he was on one knee and Evonne was crying! To Evonne's surprise Nick had also gathered a close friend to capture the whole moment on camera! 8 years later he finally asked and we couldn't be more excited to start our life together :)
