Zach and Fabi met through Santa Teresa Church in 2010. Fabi became close friends with Zach's sister, Mary, in highschool but didn't think about dating her little brother.

After flirting at a youth retreat in South Lake Tahoe in 2016, Zach and Fabi started texting (courtesy of Mary giving Fabi Zach's phone number unsuspectingly). After a few months of texting and seeing each other at Church, Fabi mentioned her homecoming dance was coming up and thought it would be cool if they went, which they did and looked AMAZING together. Zach then decided to ask Fabi on a date, where they saw the worst movie you could possibly think of for a first date, but they talked for hours, and their love story began.

September of 2017, Fabi left for Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) while Zach was in San Jose finishing high school (yes, fabi is older). Long Distance was really hard for both of them as this was both their first long-term serious relationship but they made it through.

September 2018, Zach joined Fabi at Oregon State but didn't call it home like she did. After a few years living together and their relationship going strong they both thought that Zach pursuing his passion of fabrication and cars would be the best for him, so he moved to Southern California in January of 2021 to attend The Fab School. More long distance for them, but this time they were more confident and Fabi visited every other month at least.

June 2021, Fabi graduated from Oregon State and moved back to the Bay Area for work. She was excited and happy to start planning her life with Zach where she felt at home. Zach was still in Southern California pursuing his passion while Fabi visited more often.

March 2022, Zach finished his programs and moved back to the Bay Area! Him and Fabi were finally able to start looking further into the future and move in together again. They moved to San Mateo and started enjoying adulthood together.

December 2nd 2022, Zach proposed to Fabi and she said YES! After 6 years of dating, their future is brighter than ever.

April 30th 2023, Zach and Fabi expanded their family by adopting a furry friend! Duke is 3 years old and a shepherd mix. They couldn't be happier together.
