Our story begins in the hallways of our small-town high school, where we first crossed paths as teenagers. We didn’t know it then, but those early encounters were just the first chapters of something much greater. We grew up just miles apart, sharing the same streets, the same schools, and unknowingly— the same dreams.

Life took us on different journeys for a while, but fate had other plans. In our early 20s, we reunited unexpectedly at the salon where he worked. By that time, I had just graduated from cosmetology school and was working hard to get my license. Soon after, I joined him at the salon, and what started as a professional connection quickly blossomed into a deep friendship and love, grounded in our shared passion for the beauty industry. Both licensed cosmetologists, we found joy not only in building our careers together but in supporting each other’s dreams every step of the way.

Our bond grew stronger as we welcomed our greatest blessing into the world—our son. Becoming parents was a life-changing experience that deepened our connection in ways we couldn’t have imagined. But like all great love stories, ours had its challenges. We went through a difficult separation that lasted four years. During that time, we both experienced tremendous growth—individually and as parents.

Then in 2023, life brought us back together—stronger, wiser, and more certain than ever that we were meant to be. We started a new chapter with a deeper understanding of each other and a renewed commitment to building a future as partners in life, love, and business.

On February 13, 2024—on the eve of Valentine’s Day—he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said yes.

Now, we’re here, writing the next chapter of our love story—side by side, heart to heart, and hand in hand.
