Faith’s VersionSo some background first before we get into the story. Andrew and I went to the same high school together. I was a junior, and he was a senior when I first noticed him. The first time I noticed him was when I saw him walking past me on the way to class. He was just a random face out of the blue I saw, and I thought he was really good-looking. I remember thinking to myself that if I ever ended up with a guy who looked like that, we would know I was living in a fantasy world. After the first time I noticed him, I started seeing him more frequently throughout the halls. We always passed each other a few times in the hall every day during passing periods at the same time. He also always visited a teacher of mine in the morning since he was a former student of hers. Keep in mind; I still had no clue who he was or even his name.&nbsp;A few months passed, and it was the Summer of 2019. I started my first job at Chick-fil-A. I chose to work there because of the environment, flexible hours, and I knew many people from my school who also worked there. I worked there for a while, and we always had new employees coming in left and right. On November 6th, I was working the drive-thru and noticed this tall guy standing near the kitchen door with his back facing me talking to a manager. I tried to figure out who it was the whole time since they looked unfamiliar to me. This guy then turned around and clocked in, and that's when I realized it was the same guy I always passed in the hallway!I remember I grabbed my friend next to me and immediately asked her if she knew who he was or what his name was. The only info she gave me was that his name was Andrew and that today was his first day. So, I thought to myself, why not get to know him a little more and become friends with him? I did anything I could to get his attention or talk to him. So, I vividly remember that we both were clocking out of our shifts. He was trying to bring a few bags of ice home to his family but couldn't carry the ice bags along with his food to the car by himself. I knew this was my chance to get him to notice me since everyone else was busy and couldn't help. So, I volunteered to help him make the ice bags and then helped carry them to his car. That gesture obviously caught his attention because a few weeks later, Andrew and I finally got to talking and became really good friends at work.After getting to know him personally, I really liked him a lot. However, when Andrew and I became close friends at work, I discovered that he was currently in a relationship. Don't get me wrong, I was disappointed after hearing this, but I decided to back off a bit and tried not to be so involved with him. A couple of weeks passed, and Andrew and I just worked with each other, and I kept our conversations mainly about work out of respect for his girlfriend. However, one day at work, Andrew came in with a glum look on his face. I could tell something was wrong because he wasn't his usual funny self. He told me that his girlfriend decided to end their relationship because they were heading off to college in different states soon and believed long distance would be too difficult for them. Don't get me wrong, I felt terrible for him, but I couldn't help but feel a little bit of excitement because this might be my chance to be more than just friends with him. We talked all the time, day and night, and finally, he asked me out on a date. We went on our first date, and it went well. A few dates later, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Now here we are three years later, engaged and planning our wedding!&nbsp;
