Our Wedding

Wade and I met on February 19, 2022 when me and my friend Lauren Jantz went to a Cleveland party. I saw Wade that night and was asking everyone who he was because I was too nervous to go up and talk to him. As soon as I laid eyes on him, I looked at Lauren and said "I'm going to make him my husband." I finally found out his name and turns out we had each other on snapchat and he had snapped me 3 times... whoops. Towards the end of the night, I went up to him to talk to him and he completely ignored me. So me and Lauren left and nothing happened. The next day I remembered I had Wade's friend, Conner Roncali on snapchat. So I texted him something about Wade and he sent me a picture back of Wade. HOW AWKWARD! Me and Lauren were dying about them being together, knowing that Wade read the text I sent Conner. After that, Wade snap-chatted me. We snapped back and forth for a while, just having normal conversations. One day he text me and asked if I would go to prom with him and, of course, I said yes. So we continued snapchatting and about 2 weeks later he said, "Nevermind, I'm back with my exgirlfriend so I'm going with her." OUCH! I just said okay and didn't snapchat him for a few days. About a week later he texts me and says, "Will you go to prom with me? Me and my girlfriend broke up." I wanted to go with him to prom really bad so, of course, I said yes, but I told him that if I go and buy a dress then I'm coming with you. I knew we had a few events we were going to together so I invited him to a Clarksdale party (March, 20, 2022) so we could finally meet each other and see how things were going to go. We ended up talking all night. Stag (A dance in Cleveland) was coming up that me and my friends always go to so I asked Wade to go with me. March 26, 2022, we ended up going and having a great night. We didn't get to talk very much because we were dancing together all night. So the night comes to an end and I go home. April 1, 2022, we go to prom and have so much fun together. We danced and laughed and had a great time. This was also the first night i met his parents. The next day he took me to the Catfish Festival in Belzoni, MS and yet again, we had the best time together. I went home later that night and that was that.

The next week Lauren and I caught wind that he was going to prom with another girl. So we decided to show up at the after party. I never said anything to him that night, I just made sure he saw me there. (He said he avoided me all night because he felt bad lol). After that night, April 23, 2022, I blocked Wade. He stayed blocked for about a month and a half and I couldn't take it anymore so I unblocked him. So we go back to snapchatting each other and he asks me if I would like to come to Indianola and go on a gym date with him. So I said yes, obviously, because I knew after I saw him the first night in Cleveland that he was the one. June 28. 2022, We went to the gym and after we worked out he said "Let's go to sonic and get a snack and a drink". We get to his truck and he has Nike blazers sitting in the passenger seat for me. Side note: We had been texting about gym stuff and I told him I've been wanting these Nike blazers to workout in. I was so excited and was like there is no way this man bought me these shoes that I've been wanting after I mentioned one time that I wanted them. We went to sonic and he dropped me back off at my car and I went home. The next few weeks we went on one or two movie dates and continued texting. On July 4, 2022, I invited him and his cousin Grant Tirey to come swim at my friend, Alexis Oliver's house. We swam and tanned all day. Later that night he said he had a surprise. He had brought a lot of fireworks for us to set off that night. HOW SWEET. So we set off fireworks and they didn't end up leaving Alexis' house until 12:00a.m. On July 23, 2022 he invited me to an Indianola party and asked me to be his girlfriend. All of his friends kept coming up to me that night saying, "So are you his girlfriend now or what?", and I was like "Yes, FINALLY!". Fast forward to March of 2025. He invited me on his family vacation to Disney world. My birthday is on March 10th so he told me while we were in Disney World he was going to take me out to eat for my birthday. On March 12, 2025, he took me to eat at the Royal Table (The Castle) in Disney World. We had to leave our hotel at 6:00a.m. to make it to our reservations in time. We finally make it to the castle at 8:00a.m. I have not used the restroom since way before we left the hotel. So when we get there I ask our waitress if she could please show me where the restroom was and she said, "Um, no your going to have to wait". I was thinking "I am a 20 year old girl and your telling me I can't use the restroom? A few minutes later they give us these blue laminated stars that say "Wishing Star" on them. We are told to close our eyes, hold the star on our hearts and make a wish. When I open my eyes, Wade is down on one knee. So of course I said "YES!".
