We met in high school during a field science class at Cascade. At first, we were just friends- doing science projects in the creek, competing in track together, and making fun of each other in the hallways. Track really solidified our friendship and after Cody graduated it continued. We didn't start dating for a while after graduation but we never lost touch. When we did start dating, I think we both knew we had found our person.

Flash forward 5 years to January 14th 2023. We are walking down the beach in Florence, just the two of us. Looking for sand dollars, we stopped to just sit and watch the waves. Then it finally happens... Cody proposed! And of course it was the easiest yes of my life! We are so excited for our wedding and to be including you in it!! See you soon!!
