For many of you who may be traveling from afar, Sheridan has a lot to offer! We are right in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, a beautiful range of the Northern Rockies, which offer many scenic drives and hikes. We are a few hours from Yellowstone, for those who may be planning extended trips out West!

Featuring a restaurant and hotel, the Sheridan Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places. Buffalo Bill spent 8 years living here and there is a lot of history within the building, first built in 1893. Ernest Hemingway also stayed here for some time, among other locations in Sheridan.
The National Forest is right in Sheridan's backyard, and encompasses a vast area with beautiful mountain wilderness. Lots of great hiking, camping, and recreation access.
While not in our immediate area, Yellowstone National Park is about 3 hours drive away, making Sheridan a good start (or end) point to visiting the park.
