The tagline for the dating app "Hinge" is the "app meant to be deleted".

Now ask any one in your life who have used dating apps, and they most likely will tell you that is NOT their experience and that dating apps in general are not for the faint of heart. In today's society, it is one of the most common ways for people of all ages to try to find their person. Unfortunately, users of these apps often get matched with people who are the complete opposite of what they are looking for or people who are not taking dating seriously. Most people often go on dozens and dozens of dates from the app, with no such luck, but for Faithe and Kyle, their story is a bit different.

Faithe decided to download Hinge in May of 2022. She had never used any dating apps before, and was reluctant to do so for the reasons previously mentioned, but decided to give it a chance. Kyle had also not had the best experiences on other dating apps, and decided to begin using Hinge just a few months prior to Faithe. In May of 2022, a conversation on Hinge was struck between Kyle and Faithe discussing a matter of utmost importance - is the attraction "Skull Island: Reign of Kong" at Universal Studios the best ride at the park? What started as a lighthearted afternoon conversation between two strangers turned into days of messaging back and forth. Paragraphs discussing their interests, hobbies, past, future plans, and everything in between. A date was promptly planned at a restaurant called the 4 Corners Tavern, a near perfect middle ground between Tampa (Kyle's home) and Orlando (Faithe's home). By the end of the night, Kyle and Faithe both knew something felt different.

The two of them could not have predicted that on their one year anniversary, Kyle would take Faithe back to the 4 Corners Tavern for dinner, and afterwards he would take what was supposed to be a short detour to Disney Springs for some "dessert", when really their friends were hiding with their cameras in hand, ready to document the moment Kyle got down on one knee and asked Faithe to marry him.
