Please RSVP by end of July 2025 by clicking on the RSVP link.
What is the difference between Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Terengganu?
Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s vibrant capital city, located on the west coast. It’s a bustling metropolis known for its shopping, dining, and cultural attractions, making it a great place to explore.
Kuala Terengganu, on the other hand, is a charming coastal town on the east coast of Malaysia. It has a more laid-back atmosphere, with beautiful beaches and a slower pace of life. This is where Farah was born and raised—and it’s also where our wedding will take place.
Where should we stay in Kuala Lumpur?
We recommend staying in the Bukit Bintang and KLCC areas, as they are centrally located and offer easy access to shopping, dining, and attractions. For family members, we recommend staying near Bukit Ceylon to keep everyone close together.
To make your stay more convenient, we have listed a selection of serviced apartments and hotels in the accommodation menu.
If you prefer to stay elsewhere, Bukit Bintang and KLCC remain the most central and accessible options.
When should all guests arrive to Terengganu?
Thursday, 9th October 2025, would be ideal, as it will allow everyone to check in, be well-rested and prepared for the big day ahead.
How do we get to the venue?
To Kuala Lumpur:
You will need to fly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, or KUL for airport code.
To Kuala Terengganu:
Fly from Subang Airport (closest to KL) or KLIA. It will be a short 45-minute flight to Kuala Terengganu Sultan Mahmud Airport.
From there, we have rental cars available or you can request Grab Taxi to Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu.
How do we get around in Kuala Terengganu?
As Grab taxis may be limited, we recommend that a few members of your group obtain an international driving license if you are staying for several days. We will be renting a few vans and cars for convenience. We would appreciate it if you could arrange for the necessary reimbursement at your earliest convenience. Thank you!
Where should I stay in Kuala Terengganu?
Villapadu Bayu and Permai Hotel
Where can we get Malaysian traditional outfit?
We will share the design and size chart with you and place the order accordingly.
For ladies, if you want to wear anything else, please ensure it is modest (long sleeve and ankle length).
For the men's traditional Malay hat, it will need to be purchased in person ideally in Kuala Lumpur to ensure the correct sizing.
Kindly provide us with your sizes and arrange for reimbursement at your convenience. Thank you!
Will there be alcohol served? Can I bring alcohol?
As our solemnization ceremony is a sacred and significant occasion, we kindly request that guests refrain from consuming alcohol or being under the influence during the event. We truly appreciate your understanding and respect for this special moment.
This celebration is centered on togetherness and truly being present. We want everyone to feel comfortable and respectful of the values that make this day meaningful to us.
If you are unable to honor this request, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
