And then we have the other half of our best man dream team: Kenny Sheldrake. If Jason is the organised spreadsheet, Kenny is… the Jäger bomb you didn’t ask for, but you’re somehow holding anyway. He’s the guy who always thinks, ‘You know what this night needs? One more round,’ and suddenly the night has escalated from polite conversation to questionable dance moves. Kenny might come across as the quiet one at first, but don’t be fooled.. once you get to know him, he’s got stories, banter, and the kind of laugh that makes you join in before you even know what’s funny. He’s also the one you’d call when something breaks, because if there’s a problem, Kenny can fix it, build it, or at least bodge it back together until it looks brand new. He’s the perfect balance to Franny, less likely to alphabetise his spice rack, but far more likely to build you the shelf to put it on. A loyal mate, a proper character, and exactly the kind of best man you want… as long as you don’t let him near the Jäger.

Faye’s best friend for over 15 years, which officially qualifies her for sainthood. She’s the ultimate ride or die loyal to the core, always up for an adventure, and the kind of friend who makes even the most ordinary day feel like a story worth telling. Lily is fun in its purest form, whether it’s laughter that makes your cheeks ache, dancing until your feet give up, or simply being the person you can rely on no matter what. She’s been there through every high, every low, and every questionable fashion choice along the way, and there’s no one else who could stand beside Faye in this role. Quite simply, she’s not just a Maid of Honour, she’s family, and she’s proof that some friendships really are forever.

Next up is Hayley, Faye’s younger sister, though let’s be honest, she’s been acting like the older, wiser, more sensible one since day one. Living over in Wales, Hayley may be many miles away but her presence is loud, the bossy but loving one. The one you can always count on to keep things grounded (and to remind Faye when she’s being dramatic). She might technically be the little sister, but in true Hayley fashion, she’s never really played that role. Instead, she’s the practical one, the mumma, and the one who somehow always manages to keep everything together, while still rolling her eyes at the rest of us along the way. A sister, a best friend, and the one person who can probably keep this whole wedding party in line if it comes to it.
