The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Rio Hondo by Wedgwood Weddings in Downey, CA - midway between Orange County and Los Angeles. The address is: 10627 Old River School Rd Downey, CA 90241

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking.

Our morning ceremony will be outdoors with rolling green hills, majestic pine trees, and a dramatic waterfall backdrop. Guests will walk to the ceremony on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels may not be ideal. The reception will take place indoors in the Grand Hall, an exquisite modern event space with a generous ballroom so be sure to bring your dancing shoes!

The wedding party will be staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Downey March 21, 2025 through March 22, 2025. Booking your room is simple, just use the direct link on the “Travel” section of this website to book a room at the same hotel we will be staying at. All rooms at this hotel are suites with either one king bed or two queen beds with a separate living room area with a pull out sofa bed for additional accommodations/privacy for families staying together.

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony and reception will take place at the Rio Hondo by Wedgwood which is located less than 2 miles from the Embassy Suites by Hilton where most guests will be staying.

There are multiple airports that are located very close to Downey, California including: Ontario International Airport Los Angeles International Airport Long Beach Airport

Our dress code is formal. We ask that you dress to impress when you come celebrate with us!

The weather at the end of March in Downey, California is typically spring-like with clear or partly sunny skies. Temperatures are usually in the upper 60s°F to low 70s°F during the day, and in the lower 50s°F at night.

Our wedding will take place at the Rio Hondo by Wedgwood on Saturday, March 22. The ceremony will begin at 10:30am sharp, followed by drinks and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 3pm.

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 9:30am. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.
