Do I need to RSVP?
Yes please! The Sooner you know you can go, the better, for not only the brides, but for you too! Please RSVP by February 15th of 2024. If you are having issues please reach out to one of the Brides!
Anyone who does not RSVP by this date will be assumed that they will not be attending.
Are kids Allowed to come?
Absolutely kids are allowed but please, if you bring kids, please be responsible for them. Something to be aware of, there is a small creek in the area.
What is the dress code?
Formal casual. We would love for our guests to dress up! No shorts and no Jeans please! Wear what you feel comfortable in but please be aware of the weather conditions as well. Also, you will be walking on uneven terrain as this is a camping site usually.
Are there options to stay close to the venue?
Yes, there is actually a few different options you will have if you would like to find a place to stay close to the venue, especially if you are a further drive away.
First option would be to stay on site at the venue. Please go to the Travel tab on this webpage for more Information but the first and best option will be to click the Pinecrest Chalet option to stay at the venue sight. Check in would be Friday May 3rd and check out is May 5th . The access code is May042024. This will than take and show you all the available cabin or cottage for that weekend. You will be required to pay 50% up front and the other 50% will get taken out 14 day or 2 weeks before the venue. Check in is Friday May 3, 2024 after 4pm. Check out is Sunday May 5, 2024 before 11am. Early check in may be permitted if cabin/cottage is clean and ready for you. Please review the fine print before purchase. Also note that the cabin options for here will be open to the public 60 days before the wedding. So the sooner you get one the better! Please keep in consideration that weekend is Cinco De Mayo so options will probably go fast! Other options are The strawberry Inn or Modern strawberry cabin which are some cabins that are fairly close to the venue. Or you can also Check out AIR BNB in Pinecrest/Strawberry for more options as well or Booking.com. Please check out the Travel tab to see the linked cabin/hotel options we have found nearby for your convenience. The last options provided to you would be that there are a few Camper/RV spots for those that have an RV and would like to use it to go to the venue. If this is your choice of option, you will need to Reserve these ASAP so please let one of us know so we can reach out to the Chalet to reserve a RV spot for you to pay for. What should I expect if I come the day before?
For those that plan on staying the full stay of Friday through Sunday, Friday there will be a costume contest for everyone to enjoy! The theme? Dress as your favorite character and go as wild as your imagination will allow! Your options are limitless! Some themes you can think about are Disney, Pixar, Ross from Friends, Spongebob, the Cat from Cat in the Hat. etc. Run wild but keep it tasteful as there will be children present! While it is totally optional to dress up, it is highly encouraged to come and just have some fun with us the day before! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will even receive prizes! What time should I arrive the day of?
The Ceremony will start at about 4:00pm. We recommend coming at least 30 to 15 minutes earlier to grab a drink and a seat to watch our adventure begin!
Will there be alcohol?
There will be alcohol, however, it will not be an open bar vibe but rather limited choices as well as quantity. With that being said you are more than welcome to bring your own drink of choice!
Cell Service?
Depending on your carrier, there is no cell service once at the venue, if needed, you will have to drive about 20 minutes back towards town in order to make calls if needed. If staying at the venue in one of the cabins /Cottages, there is Wifi but it is spotty so might not work the best. We would also Recommend having the directions to the venue saved on your phone just incase you loose service on the way up.
