Jimmy and Fernanda met through a mutual friend, and on October 3rd of 2017, Jimmy invited Fernanda to dinner. What was supposed to be a simple meal turned into a three-hour conversation about football. That night, Jimmy made a promise: if Fernanda’s favorite team—the Patriots—made it to the Super Bowl, he would take her to celebrate her 30th birthday.

Exactly four months later, on Fernanda’s 30th birthday, they were on a plane to Minnesota to watch the Patriots play the Eagles in the Super Bowl—creating their first unforgettable adventure together. To this day, they still love their football dates.

Since then, football has taken them to 15 stadiums across the country, and visiting all of them remains one of their couple’s bucket list goals. But their adventures don’t stop there. They also share a love for Disney—already having visited 4 of the 6 Disney parks around the world—as well as traveling, discovering new restaurants, and watching the latest superhero movies together. Even though they have different personalities and personal hobbies, they love spending their time together and making each other happy.

On New Year’s Day this year in Paris, Jimmy surprised Fernanda with a proposal in the most fitting way possible—while Fernanda was brushing her teeth! For a dentist, he couldn’t have chosen a more perfectly quirky and funny moment. It was romantic, unexpected, and perfectly them.

Their love also extends to their four-legged family members. Spot, their first pup, will forever hold a special place in their hearts, while Louis, their energetic and brave new puppy, keeps their days full of laughter and joy.

Together, Jimmy and Fernanda have built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and love—and they can’t wait to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.
