Piñon Court by La Fonda

This boutique hotel in New Mexico is 100 yards from downtown Sante Fe. It features hand-crafted décor, walking tours and guest rooms with coffee facilities. Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. Discover the Art &amp; Life of&nbsp;Georgia O'Keeffe. General Admission: $22. Fern was so moved by this experience, she cried like a baby.

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

The Native American Artisans Program at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe is open daily from&nbsp;10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This program allows visitors to purchase traditionally made items directly from Native artisans who have been selling their work there for decades. *Note: there is an ATM across the street, right beside the Tourist Guide booth. Be prepared to pay with cash. A turquoise lover's dream.

Palace of the Governors at New Mexico History Museum

Ancestral Pueblo peoples made Bandelier their home from about 1100 to 1550 CE. For more than 400 years they and their descendants lived and flourished here. Bandelier has over 70 miles of hiking trails for you to explore if you wish. We recommend wearing hiking attire, sneakers, and sunscreen. About 1 hr drive from Santa Fe. Is it worth it? YES!!!

Bandelier National Monument Visitor Center

Seeking healing &amp; respite? Take a 1 hr. drive to Ojo Caliente, one of the oldest natural health&nbsp;resorts&nbsp;in the US (est. 1868) and the only hot springs in the world with four different sulfur-free, healing mineral waters: Arsenic, Lithia, Soda, and Iron. Choose from all-day access to communal pools, or soak in solitude with a private soaking session. Open Daily 10am–10pm. Cost: $45 Monday–Thursday. $65 Friday–Sunday and on Holidays. Day pass includes use of locker and towel, as well as access to changing rooms, showers, dry sauna, steam room and communal soaking pools. Rent a robe for $20.

Open Saturday—Thursday: 10AM - 5 PM, and Friday: 10 AM - 7 PM. Be sure to visit the Plaza Building, minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza.

New Mexico Museum of Art

Open Daily 10am—5pm. $12 admission. The museum's holdings represent diverse cultures and constitute the largest collection of international folk art in the world! An unforgettable experience, typically taking up to an hour to explore.

Meow Wolf Santa Fe's House of Eternal Return

Open Daily 9:00am—5:00pm. Famous for its "miraculous" spiral staircase;&nbsp;built without any visible central support, nails, or glue—the subject of a popular legend.

Loretto Chapel Museum

A must! This Santa Fe gem is known for its amazing organic food and wonderful atmosphere. Reserve your table — there is always a line. You can also walk in and leave your name &amp; phone number, then explore the city and they'll text you when your table is ready. Vegan cheese is available. Opt for coffee, bloody mary or mimosa.

Located in the heart of downtown. Delicious sopaipillas and margaritas, as well as fresh-squeezed Arnold Palmer. There might be a short wait time because it's popular.

Plaza Cafe Downtown

Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins &amp; Dives. We went here two days in a row for a reason. Do not skip the margarita, or the homemade Boston cream pie. Even the pizza is delicious.

Canyon Road is home to more than 100 art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants in one half mile. The galleries are housed in low, rambling, historic adobe homes; the sidewalks are lined with vibrant hollyhocks and coyote fences; the painted doors and windows are some of the most photogenic you’ve ever seen.
