It all started with Tabby taking a leap of faith and nervously started a conversation with the man that caught her eye, Fernie. Communication was effortless and the two enjoyed getting to know more about each other.

Before long, Fernie invited Tabby to a little pub called Papa’s for their first date. That night was filled with laughter, nonstop storytelling, and natural chemistry. They could have talked till the morning and it wouldn’t have been enough. After that date, Fernie knew that Tabby was unlike anyone he had met before.

Fernie admired Tabby’s kindness, her sense of humor, and—of course—her smile that lit up the room. Tabby, in turn, saw how hardworking, caring, and selfless Fernie was, and it didn’t take long for her to realize that he was someone truly special.

The couple began to make special memories over time and they especially treasure the time they have shared in Florida, a place where the couple has experienced many “firsts”. Florida holds a special place in their hearts—not just for the memories they've created there, but because it symbolizes the peace and safety they find in each other.

It was on their trip to Florida in July 2024 that Fernie chose to ask a lifechanging question. With the sunset as a backdrop and the beach breeze in the air, Fernie asked Tabby to be in his life forever. In that moment, Tabby knew she was ready to take this next step with Fernie. Now, with a lifetime of memories ahead of them, Tabby and Fernie are excited to begin forever together, continuing to grow side by side.
