We want this to be a fun dancing filled party that happens to also be a wedding, so come dressed in fun/bright outfits with lots of color or sparkle while also making sure you can still move on the dance floor. If you need a true descriptor, call it cocktail attire (dress to impress with color and sparkle). As always, pink is encouraged.

Yes, there is ample parking on site, but the back roads to get to the venue can get very dark at night. We also plan to offer a shuttle that will pick up at the Hyatt Place hotel at 2:30 p.m. to transport guests to Rivercrest Farms. The shuttle will have two departure times back to the hotel at the end of the night: 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

We are having an open bar, but please do tip the bartender!

Weather pending, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be in an open air barn with dancing both inside and outside.

Typically, April weather in Harrisonburg/Elkton is a nice 60 to 70 degrees, though it can drop lower than that once the sun is down.

We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony so between 3 and 3:10 p.m. Please do not arrive prior to 3 p.m.

Invitations extend only to the names on the RSVP which does include some children. If the invite is made out to “The XX Family” then children are included and will have a spot on the online RSVP. Please be aware though that speeches, songs, etc will not be censored.
