A Sangeet ceremony is an important part of Indian weddings – it’s like a pre-wedding reception where friends and family ceremonially welcome the couple into their lives and wish them the best for their future. A typical Sangeet ceremony involves music and dancing, typically in the form of a dance-off between the bride and groom’s families. The dress code is usually festive – bright colors and traditional sarees or lenghas for women, while men usually wear kurtas or Sherwanis.

Rules for the Gurudwara: please cover your head while inside of the temple and please remove your shoes in the shoe room at the entrance. Please join us for the Barrat beginning at 10AM. There will a full breakfast served followed by the Sikh Wedding Ceremony and lunch.

Please join us as we exchange our vows and rings at 5:30PM. Followed by a lavish cocktail hour and reception party filled with music, food, drinks and dancing!
