We provided a couple listings that are very close to the venue under our accommodation section. There are also many Airbnb or Vrbo listings in the area, and cottages in Cavendish. Stanley Bridge Resort is very close to the venue but we recently read many negative reviews so just be cautious if booking there. We recommend booking sooner rather than later as places book up fast on the island!
Wedding Gifts/Registry:
We are very grateful for everyone traveling all the way to the island to celebrate our special day with us. We really do not expect a gift at all, but if you feel inclined any contribution towards our honeymoon or first home would be greatly appreciated!
Are children welcome?
We want everyone to let loose, enjoy the day and not have to worry about their little ones. We kindly request no children at the wedding as it will be adults only (18+), excluding the wedding party. We greatly appreciate the understanding and hope you can still make it to celebrate the day with us!
How will I get home?
We have a 14-person van rented from 10pm-2am that will be available to drive anyone drinking back to their accommodations. The bus will be driving to areas around New London and Cavendish ONLY. Please do not drink and drive. If you do not have a designated driver and require transportation you can inform us on our RSVPs.
Parking Overnight?
Feel free to leave your vehicle overnight if you use the shuttle service. The venue may have an event the following day so collecting your car in the morning would be ideal. Try to carpool to the venue to limit the number of cars left overnight. We appreciate your help!
Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony and reception will both be held on the property of the New London Carriage House. The ceremony will be held outdoors weather permitting. The ceremony starts at 4 pm, please arrive 30 mins prior. The reception will be ending at 1 am.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Please wear whatever you are comfortable in! Keep in mind it may cool down later in the evening.
Will there be a cocktail hour?
There will be a cocktail hour after the ceremony while we step away for pictures. Appetizers will be available to snack on, drinks available at the bar, and yard games to enjoy.
Will there be food?
We are providing our guests with a two-course plated dinner after cocktail hour. There will also be soft drinks and coffee/tea provided. Please include dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
