Are there washrooms at the venues?

Yes! There are public washrooms available at Bertram Park, and for your convenience, washrooms are also located inside the hall at the reception venue.

What beverages will you be serving?

At our bar, we will offer a selection of beer, wine, seltzers, ciders, and a variety of signature cocktails. Additionally, there will be a self-serve coffee and tea station available. For non-alcoholic options, we will provide water and soda.

Transportation and parking at the venues

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venues. Free parking is available at both locations. Please note that both venues offer public parking, so plan accordingly when scheduling your day. At Bertram Park, there are two parking lots. The lower lot provides easier access to the ceremony and is preferred as the bride and groom will be having a private first look and vow reading near the upper parking lot, followed by pictures. To maintain the element of surprise, they kindly request that guests avoid the upper area until the ceremony begins. If the lower parking lot is full and you must park in upper lot, please promptly make your way down to the amphitheatre area and refrain from exploring the upper area in hopes of avoiding the bride and groom. The venues are only a short 5-minute drive apart. We encourage carpooling to help reduce traffic and parking challenges.

Do we need to bring a wedding gift?

We kindly request no physical gifts. Instead, we are gratefully accepting contributions to our honeymoon fund. There will be a card box at the reception where you can place cash or cheques to help us on our journey to Hawaii!

What can we expect for dinner?

Dinner will be served family-style. Family-style dining is a warm and communal way to enjoy a meal together, where large platters and bowls of food are placed directly on the tables for everyone to share.

What are we expected to do between ceremony and reception?

After the ceremony concludes at Bertram Park, please proceed directly to the reception hall. The bride, groom, and family will remain at Bertram for photos. Enjoy beverages and outdoor games outside the hall for about an hour. Kindly use the side door for entry and refrain from using the front doors. Thank you!

Is there a seating plan for dinner?

Yes, there will be small name tags at each place setting on the tables. Please take a moment to find your seat before the bride and groom arrive for dinner. This will help ensure a smooth start to the reception.

When should we get to Bertram Park for ceremony?

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:30pm to allow time to find a seat. Please be seated at the amphitheater by 3:50pm (latest) to ensure a timely start.

Do I need to bring money for the bar?

We're excited to have a toonie bar at our wedding! This means that guests can enjoy drinks for $2 each. We will have a jar at the bar for the cash.
