We recommend guests stay in Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta. 20 min from the airport and 10 min from wedding venue: Hacienda Palo Maria .
We do not have a specific hotel block, however we have recommendations below and highly suggest VRBO/Airbnb. If booking through VRBO/Airbnb, be sure to check the reviews and amenities when you compare 😊 Zona Romantica is very walkable and there is no need for a car. We will update everyone on travel to and from the wedding venue closer to our big day! 👰❤️🤵♂️

Garlands del Rio Boutique Hotel

Garlands Del Rio is an oasis in the middle of the romantic zone, close to all beaches, restaurants and bars along The Cuale River. However, even though centrally located when inside Garlands Del Rio you feel away from all the noise of the city. 8 minute walk to beach. Opt for this hotel or it's sister Rivera Del Rio Hotel if you prefer a true Vallartan experience that cannot be found at a typical hotel.
Note - Garlands has lots of stairs so choose a lower room or a room at their sister hotel, Rivera Del Rio Hotel if you need an elevator. The sister hotel is about 5 minutes walk further up along the river away from the beach. It has a stunning rooftop pool, that guests at both hotels can access during their stay. It has good staff and taxis, ubers and private transportation are accessible easily if preferred to walking.

The Hotel Rio Malecon offers the most affordable rate with standard amenities, and good reviews. 6 Minute walk to the Garlands Hotel listed above, and a few minutes to the beach! It technically located in the Centro area, a few steps away from Playa de los Muertos, Zona Romantica, the Cuale River Island and the city's most popular restaurants and bars.
Playa Los Arcos Hotel Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

Playa Los Arcos Hotel Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta is in Zona Romantica directly on the beach. 11 min walk to Garlands Del Rio Hotel and 6 min walk to Hotel Rio Malecon listed above. Family friendly. This hotel has lots of amenities on site and is popular with tourists. Rates vary and are better if you look at third-party website (hotels.com, trivago.com etc.) They have AAA rates on some rooms as well if you book through their website.
Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta

Garza Blanca is a 5 star resort walkable to the wedding venue, but it is not located in Zona Romantica where most guests will be staying.
