The dress code is black-tie optional. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo or can opt for a dark suit and tie. Women can choose from either a formal evening gown, or a formal midi dress.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Unfortunately, there is a limit on the number of guests we can accommodate, so we are not accepting plus-ones unless indicated on your formal RSVP invitation. Please understand that mistakes can be made, so if we left out someone important to you, let us know.
Are children allowed?
The reception will be an adults only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities. We understand that you may be traveling with your children for the weekend. We would be happy to assist out-of-town guests find babysitting accomodations. The following websites may also help: Care.com and Sittercity.com
When is the RSVP deadline?
We kindly request that all guests RSVP by May 3rd, 2024.
Responding ahead of the deadline will help us ensure you are included in our attendance list and your meals are properly accounted for.
What should I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I already RSVP'd?
We understand unexpected changes happen. In the event you or someone from your party is no longer able to attend (or if you are now able to attend after responding "Decline" previously), please update your RSVP form on our website and contact us right away to inform us of any changes.
Is there parking available at the Venue (Colony Club)
Yes. For guests who would like to park on-site for the reception, complementary parking is available at the Comerica Garage located at 50 W. Montcalm, Detroit (next to Colony Club Detroit). Upon entering the garage, please use the code 2675.
When and where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The wedding ceremony will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Jesuit Church at 4:00pm. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm with the formal reception to begin at 7:00pm at The Colony Club.
Will there be food/drinks served during cocktail hour?
Yes. We will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar during the cocktail hour. Dinner will be served during the reception.
What time do I need to arrive for the ceremony?
We recommend that you arrive by 3:30pm to ensure you have enough time to park and be seated before the ceremony begins 4:00pm.
